Install Change Check on macOS
A clear guide for installing the Apple silicon version and opening it safely on your Mac.
Before you begin
Only continue if you intentionally downloaded Change Check from the official Plain Method purchase flow and the file matches the SHA-256 for that release. If macOS says the app contains malware, will damage your Mac, or is damaged, stop and contact support.

Download Change Check
Use the verified download on this purchase page or in your Creem order portal. Save the DMG in Downloads.
Open the DMG
In Finder, open Downloads and double-click the Change Check DMG. Wait for the disk image to mount.
Move the app to Applications
Follow the mounted DMG window. If it shows Change Check and Applications, drag Change Check into Applications.
Open Change Check
In Finder, choose Applications and open Change Check. On first open, macOS may ask you to approve this unsigned, not-notarized V1.
Approve Change Check in Privacy & Security
- Try opening Change Check once and note the exact warning.
- Open Apple menu → System Settings → Privacy & Security.
- Under Security, find the Change Check message. If macOS shows an Open button, choose it first, then choose Open Anyway.
- Read the confirmation carefully. If you choose to continue, select Open. Your Mac may request administrator authentication.
- Return to Applications and open Change Check again.
Do not use Open Anyway if macOS says the app contains malware, will damage your Mac, or is damaged. Do not disable Gatekeeper or SIP, and do not use Terminal commands for this process.
Activate and make your first comparison.
Use the license key in your receipt or Creem order portal. Initial activation requires an internet connection.
