Plain Method operates this website and publishes Change Check. This policy describes information handled by the website, the support channel and the desktop product.

The website has no account or spreadsheet-upload workflow and does not receive or store your spreadsheet files. Theme and language preferences may be stored locally in your browser. The site does not use analytics or advertising cookies. It records first-party events for page views, published-guide clicks, and free-tool use/product-click events. A page-view event contains only a fixed canonical route key, asset key, event type, allowlisted referrer category, a production or explicitly marked test mode, and a 15-minute time bucket. Guide-click events contain only a guide ID, product ID, canonical source path, CTA position, an allowlisted referrer category and a coarse time bucket. A verification marker is included only when a test click is explicitly marked. The Profit Calculator and Margin Calculator send first-party use and product-link events containing only an event type, a fixed tool key, its canonical route and a 15-minute time bucket. For the KPI Target-to-Actual Scorecard, usage analytics may also record whether a valid calculation was completed and a coarse time-to-completion range. Amounts entered in these tools—including KPI names, targets, actuals and scores—are never sent. Free text is not included, and this telemetry is not used to create a persistent user identifier or cross-site fingerprint. These events do not store full referrer URLs, query strings, IP addresses, user IDs, spreadsheet data or payment/license details. Analytics is best-effort and does not block navigation.

Change Check is designed to process selected CSV/XLSX files locally in the desktop app. It reads the files you choose and writes separate review reports. A support message contains only the details you decide to send.

License and activation information is used only to provide a purchased Change Check license and its stated updates. This website does not collect card numbers.

Payments for Change Check are processed by Creem, our Merchant of Record. Creem handles checkout, payment processing, tax and transaction records. Paysway is the configured payout provider to Creem, not a separate checkout on this website; their own policies apply to payment data.
