Clear terms for Change Check.

These terms cover Change Check, a spreadsheet comparison desktop application published by Plain Method, an individual-operated business. They describe the intended customer rules for the product; a license starts only when a purchase is completed.

The intended price is USD 19 as a one-time purchase for the V1 release. A purchased V1 license is perpetual for that version and may be activated on up to three devices owned or controlled by the licensee, subject to the activation controls shown at purchase.

You may install and use the licensed version for your own work or your organization’s internal work. You may not resell, sublicense, share activation credentials, reverse engineer, bypass technical limits or use the product to violate another person’s rights.

Plain Method owns or licenses the software, interface, documentation and branding. You remain responsible for your spreadsheets, lawful data access, backups and decisions made from a review; Change Check does not approve an import or guarantee that a source file is correct.

Updates, system requirements and any activation changes will be described with the applicable product release. A one-time purchase does not promise every future major version or every future Plain Method product.

Change Check is provided with reasonable care, but it is not professional accounting, legal, compliance or security advice. To the extent allowed by law, Plain Method is not liable for indirect loss, lost profits or decisions made without independent review. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited.

Refunds, where required by law or offered with a purchase, follow the terms shown at checkout and the applicable consumer rules.
