01 / ONE SALE

Add your numbers.

The example is prefilled. Replace any value to make it your own.

Amounts are calculated locally and are not included in analytics.

03 / HOW IT WORKS

A clear estimate. No hidden assumptions.

01

Net profit

Selling price − all fixed costs − percentage fees calculated from the selling price.

02

Profit margin

Net profit ÷ selling price × 100. It is undefined when selling price is zero.

03

Break-even price

Fixed costs ÷ (1 − combined percentage fee rate), adjusted to the first cent that covers costs.

This is a per-sale estimate. It excludes taxes, discounts, refunds, labor overhead, currency conversion and marketplace-specific fee rules. It is not accounting, tax or legal advice.

FAQ

Questions before you use it.

How do I calculate profit on one product or service?
Net profit is the selling price minus product or service cost, fixed marketplace and payment fees, shipping or fulfillment, advertising, other costs, and percentage-based fees. This calculator estimates one sale at a time.
What is profit margin?
Profit margin is net profit divided by selling price, multiplied by 100. A zero selling price has no defined margin, so the calculator shows a dash.
How is the break-even selling price found?
The calculator divides fixed costs by one minus the combined marketplace and payment fee rate, then checks cent rounding. If percentage fees total 100% or more, there is no finite break-even selling price in this model.
Does this replace accounting or tax software?
No. It is a simple estimate for one item or service. It does not calculate tax, refunds, discounts, labor burden, currency conversion or marketplace-specific fee rules, and it is not accounting, tax or legal advice.
Are my numbers uploaded or saved?
The calculation runs in this browser. The website does not send the amounts you enter to its analytics endpoint or store them as part of this tool.
